As of the 15th of November you can create a free Exteel Open Beta account. Just head on over to the NCSoft website and create a game account (NCSoft account too if you don’t have one), download the client and you’re set for some fast paced 3rd person John Woo style mech deathmatches.
Exteel will be “free to play” and will utilize NCSoft’s NCcoin micro-transaction system to allow players to purchase various items or upgrades.
Registration is quick and easy, given the lackluster holiday releases for MMO’s a little mech on mech action is just what the doc ordered.
Quick update. If it wasn’t free I’d say the game wasn’t worth the download.
My advice.. pass on this multiplayer title and stick to a quality multiplayer FPS game like Medal of Honor 4: Modern Warfare.
