The leaked Northrend music sheets now combined with publicly available ratings info from the German USK (game ratings) site have confirmed what’s believed to be the upcoming expansion called, “World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King” to be shown at the Leipzig Games Convention at the end of August.

With Blizzard’s BlizzCon event happening this weekend and serving as the ideal spot for to officially announce the expansion, we’ll likely see the demo at Leipzig if it hasn’t already been shown at BlizzCon.

Rumors are also heating up again about the possibility of Hero classes being added into WoW along with the level cap increase. Due to Blizzard’s hesitance to implement this feature in the past, we’re not holding our breath on this one.

8/2/07 UPDATE: Further confirmation as the US Patents and Trademark Office has updated with “WRATH OF THE LICH KING” as Blizzard’s latest trademark application.
