In a Pimp Your Horse frame of mind, Bethesda looks to release their first mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion later today (be sure to read our review of this game if you haven’t yet.) The mod will give a horse a new look, and cost $1.99, which is .50 cents cheaper than what Xbox 360 users has to pay for the same mod.

The idea of paying for a mod is a new one, and while $1.99 isn’t going to break any piggy banks, it may turn some people off. Personally, based on what I’m seeing, a mere $2 for a nice looking horse isn’t turning me off. It could get out of hand, but at this price-point, I don’t see it being too much of a problem.
