Blizzard on Programmable Devices

Recently, a gamer playing World of Warcraft was banned supposedly because he was using his programmable Logitech keyboard for running macros. Blizzard responds to this incident with their stance on the matter. Their policy isn’t very clear, and I think they may end up addressing it again as a result.

  1. Sigh I wish they were clear on things like this, one of the main reasons I bought a G15 was so that I can use the macros for WoW. I’m not too concerned about it now since I don’t play it anymore but this whole thing sounds like Blizz didn’t really take a lot of things into account when they wrote their TOS initially. Reminds me a lot about the whole Lesbian complaint resulting in guild recruitment channel debacle :-/
